NARRATIVE REPORT
Expectations leads to disappointment, but these expectations drive me to strive and gain the crucial and necessary principles and strategies in teaching. I assumes that practice teaching is a joyful experience to be trained, to be nurtured, to be molded, and to be prepared as an effective teacher that possess the best practices and qualities both personal and professional that can be used in the near future. Mulanay Central School serves as a training ground to me to acquire the crucial and necessary principles and strategies in facilitating learning and teaching process that imparted and suggested by the different teachers that can be useful to understand the nature of the learners. It’s a pleasure to be criticized, means I am existing and these criticisms gradually build my personality to become stronger to face the challenges and accomplish successfully the given tasks. The learning’s ingrain win the learners was the most memorable experience happened in my practice teaching that I can reminisce in every time I’m hesitating to pursue this profession. It will serve as an inspiration and motivation to achieve my chosen profession. I realized the importance of being resourceful, flexible, generous, persistent, hardworking, and open minded to understand the varied behavior, skills, attitudes, and mental capacity of the learners. A short period of conversation with a learner was beneficial to the learners wherein you can understand his/her nature. In almost two months of training and interacting with the learners and teachers I learned the process approach in lesson planning and method or format of making a lesson plan in K to 12 curriculum in Mathematics that I gained thru the guidance of my resource teachers. Thru their comments and suggestions they shared in every conference they conducted gives a clear view of my chosen profession. They manifest an outstanding performance in training, nurturing, and guiding my journey being a student teacher here in Mulanay Central School. They test my classroom management, teaching skills and maturity to make decisions. They really contribute allot to achieve my goals.
